BlackCam is an Android app developed by sosulstar (서울시 관악구).

BlackCam first became available on 19 Apr 2013. It is estimated that BlackCam has been downloaded between 100000 and 500000 times from the Play Store.

BlackCam 3.1.4 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows an application to install a shortcut in Launcher.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
